HOW LONG DOES MY HAIR HAVE TO BE?
Hair must be a quarter of an inch; about the length of a grain of rice (about 10-14 days of growth). This will help the hair to adhere to the wax correctly.
HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT AFTER SHAVING TO GET A BRAZILIAN WAX OR ANY WAX IN GENERAL?
Shavers MUST have a minimum of 2-3 weeks of growth before you can be waxed. It may take several wax treatments after you have shaved to be stubble free and have the full benefits of waxing. Regular waxing will leave you with baby smooth skin and hair that grows slower, thinner and sparser. It is recommended you wax every 4-5 weeks to have these results.
HOW LONG WILL MY BRAZILIAN WAX LAST?
Usually anywhere between 3-5 weeks. Hair grows in different cycles and shaved hair does not grow back in one cycle. Shaved hair will still continue to appear days after your wax service, which is why we recommend you wax every 4-5 weeks to experience the best results from waxing.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IN BETWEEN WAXES?
Exfoliate! This will help improve your next waxing results and prevent ingrown hairs. By doing this, dead skin and oils are removed from the surface of the skin and allows the hair to grown in more evenly with minimal irritation.
WHAT SHOULDN'T I DO AFTER A WAX?
After a Brazilian or Bikini wax service, it is recommended to avoid activities involving heat (hot tubs, saunas, hot showers and sun tanning) and friction (sexual activity, strenuous exercise) for 24-48 hours. Waxing exfoliates and opens the pores, therefore the skin is vulnerable to irritation by extreme temperatures and infection by bacteria.
